Here are some additional photos of the beaches and waterfalls around Cairns.

Palm Cove Beach
There are many hotels and restaurants along the beach front in Palm Cove.
A sign listing all the different stinging jellyfish one may encounter in these waters.
There are first aid treatment kits for jellyfish stings at intervals along the way. The kits consist of a bottle of vinegar and instructions.
Not just stingers, but crocodiles are a possible hazard here.

I just liked the name of this shop in Cairns, Archie the Bear Collaborating with The Hungry Hummingbird Cake Shop.
Etty Beach, where cassowaries sometimes hang out.

The tropical rainforest has much interesting flora and fauna. I don’t know what these large green berries are but they looked a bit like olives.
