Looking down from one of the upper tiers Another view from an upper tier From outside you can see some of the interior through the archways, but it is still worth paying to go in. This end of the outer wall is of modern construction, created during extensive renovations to preserve the outer wall. The Temple of Venus and Roma is just across the street from the Colosseum.
